Nick and Philippa Coates have run Gospel Ash Gundogs for over 27 years.

From June 6th 2019 we are now based near Sturminster Newton, we will be running lessons at all our familiar places but now will now be running classes in North Dorset.

Nick Competes with his dogs (Labradors and Golden Retrievers) in Working Tests and Field Trials travelling throughout the Country during the Winter.

Nick is a Kennel Club "A" panel judge, he has judged in the UK and Europe, Training and Seminars have been held in the UK but he has been privileged to have been asked to a number of countries having returned from Japan with the GRTA (Japan) November 2017 Judging their Championships and then doing seminars for the following days, this is the third time he has been to Japan

Philippa has spent her life with animals being with Horses from a very early age she has been Hunt Stud Groom, Head Girl in a Point to Point Racing yard and has held roles in Dressage, Eventing, Carriage driving to name a few, the constant has been her care and expertise with all animals having always had a collection of dogs at her side.
